Punta Cana is a beautiful coastal city home to numerous resorts and hotels, found in the Higuey municipality within the famous La Altagracia Province in the Dominican Republic. The beaches and resort towns of Punta Cana overlook the Caribbean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean, and the town is on the extreme northernmost tip of the Dominican Republic, making it one of the most visited tourist destinations of all time.
Famous for its beautiful blue and clear waters, Punta Cana has a long stretch of attractive beaches that goes for about thirty-two kilometers long. The combination of Punta Cana and Bavaro result in the stunning La Costa del Coco, popularly known as the Coconut Coast that is usually filled with lavish and high-end resorts and holiday homes.
Some of the reasons why most people visit La Costa del Coco are purely adventurous and include windsurfing, sailing, zip-lining, and kayaking.
One beautiful spot is the Eyes Ecological Park and Reserve. This area features a one thousand and five hundred acre stretch of privately owned land that is home to unique and indigenous animal and plant species, for instance, the endangered Ridgway's hawk. Close by, and there are even more scenic views of the ‘eyes.' These are a set of twelve freshwater lagoons that have distinct shapes of eyes, making one of the top tourist attraction sites in Punta Cana.
For a more heightened panoramic view of the Caribbean Sea, there are beautiful and well-manicured golf courses nearby that offer the beautiful observatory spots. Even more, the close by horse stables provide for a unique experience of touring the beautiful landscape along the coastal beaches
For vibrant nightlife, join the locals to the Hotel Zone. Here, numerous bars, outstanding night clubs, new casinos, and beach-side lounges are the norm. All local drinks and amazing cocktails are available for everyone.
