Hong Kong, an independent territory is located in the southeastern part of China. Bohemian beaches in the Lamma islands are striking and beautiful, located in the surroundings of Hong Kong. During peak periods, there are reported high crowds on the beaches as people take to swimming and basking in the warm weather.

When to visit Hong Kong

Between June and August, Hong Kong is hot, with moderately high humidity, and quite rainy. This period is not a good time to visit Hong Kong, but there are festivities and celebrations to be engaged in, as the Dragon Boat Festival.
January and February is a good time to visit as it is the beginning of festivities like The Chinese New Year, which is full of traditional celebrations and festivities. Indulging in the Hong Kong International Film Festival between March and April is also recommended.
