Between September and October, the people of Beijing gather to celebrate the Chrysanthemum Festival amid the beauty of the plants to appreciate their efforts. Then, on varying dates in September and October, Beijing holds the Mid-autumn Moon Festival, which sees celebrations go on late into the evenings.
