Singapore is an Island to the south of Malaysia, characterized by a moderately dense multicultural population amid a stable financial sector. Singapore is home to great architectural buildings like the 18-Corinthian column City Hall and the charming home of Buddha's teeth, the Buddha Tooth Relic Temple. Among other religious buildings are Lian Shan Shuang, Sri Mariamman Hindu temple, and the Sultan Mosque. Singaporean culture and history are featured in the National Museum of Singapore as well for visitors. Singapore is one of the largest tourist destinations in the world, containing stunning skyscapes of modern architectural designs. Singaporeans specialize in the art of colorful souvenirs, many fabric shops, and great food courts along the side roads.
Singapore is lovely and pleasant across the year. However, November and December experience higher rainfall, and are not a good time. January and February mark the Chinese New Year with festivities like the Chingay Parade, music concerts, and many other fun festivities.
