Seattle is the largest and most-populated city in the Washington State and the entire region of the Pacific Northwest in North America. The city is located between Puget Sound and Lake Washington, with scenic surroundings of mountainous areas, water bodies, and forestry.

The original plant of the famous Boeing Company is found in the Museum of Flight, alongside other masterpieces and unique craftworks related to the flight industry. The Museum of Pop Culture, otherwise referred to as MoPOP, features a vibrant music industry within Seattle. The independent and vibrant music scene of Seattle goes on years after the Grunge music raised the music bars back in the 1990s.

The climate of Seattle is a Mediterranean warm temperate, classified as Köppen Csb, but it might order slightly on the oceanic climate due to the temperatures during winter. Generally, the climate is defined by warm and dry summers, cool and tolerable rainy winters, and short, mild springs and autumns.
Winter is cold and very rainy. December is the coldest month when the daily mean temperature drops to 40.6°F (4.8°C) or less. Snowfall is not rare; Seattle has about two snowy days per month with up to 4.1cm of snow per winter month. November is the rainiest month with up to 6.6" (167.6mm) in precipitation and nineteen rainy days on average.
Summer, between May and September, is warm and pleasant throughout. August remains the warmest month of the year, with a daily mean temperature of 77.2°F (25.1°C). Extremely hot days are rare, but the sunshine hours go up to ten per day. Showers of afternoon rain can be expected during summer, albeit in very minimal amounts.
Spring and autumn are mild and lovely, with episodes of frequent rainfall on the majority of the afternoons.
Seattle is a year-round travel destination as it attracts visitors both during its hottest days and its coldest days. The travel season peaks during summer, between May and September. This season has the best weather for outdoor activities and has the majority of events and cultural fairs to be attended.
The International Film Festival in May is attracting participants and audiences from far and wide in a bid to appreciate the ever-thriving film industry. The summer Sea Fair that is held in July. The fair sees numerous boats gathering on Lake Union in readiness for boat racing competitions, marathons, and stunning parades with a culmination in beautiful firework displays. Another event is the renowned Seattle International Music and Arts Festival, aiming at rewarding and appreciating artists in the industry amid thrilling musical shows and art performances.
