Milwaukee is one of the largest cities in the Midwestern United States and the largest city in the US State of Wisconsin. The city also holds the role of the seat of the eponymous County and is one of the most populated cities in the Midwestern US. Now a primary economic and cultural center of the Milwaukee metropolitan area, Milwaukee is located conveniently on the western shore of Lake Michigan.
Milwaukee is home to numerous breweries, and as a result, the city has a thriving beer industry. More of its history and development has been preserved away in museums like the Harley-Davidson Museum, the famous Milwaukee Public Museum, the Milwaukee Art Museum, and the Lynden Sculpture Garden outdoor museum. Numerous artifacts and unique masterpieces can be found throughout the city in any of these museums and galleries.
Another attractive tourist spot is the massive Mitchell Park Horticultural Conservatory, designed to feature three glass domes under which tourists can enjoy an indoor desert life as well as the beauty of numerous floral gardens therein.

Milwaukee experiences a typical humid continental climate that is Köppen classified as Dfa. The weather is characterized by warm, humid, and pleasant summers and cold, snowy, and windy winters. The climate of this region is affected by the location of Milwaukee in the Great Lakes Region and its proximity to Lake Michigan, causing the breezes from the lake to rapidly change the weather during the seasons. The lake breeze is the reason why the early evenings may feel much warmer than recorded, especially between March and July.
July is Milwaukee's warmest month of the year when the mercury sticks to approximately 72.5°F (22.5°C) on average, with up to ten and a half sunshine hours per day. January, on the other hand, is the coldest month in Milwaukee, with the temperature averaging 22.3°F (-5.4°C) on most days.
