When to visit Barcelona

Visiting Barcelona is great anytime between April and October, as this is when the weather is lovely, and there are many celebrations throughout the city. During spring, from May to June, the Sonar electronic music festival and the Verbena de Sant Juan are the ultimate celebrations, with the latter featuring stunning fireworks in the night sky and bonfires along the beaches. During summer, between Jul and August, Barcelona gets hot and humid, but the July Grec Festival brings more theatre performances, music and dance shows, and other forms of art displays.
