Rome is the capital city of Italy, also coupling up as the capital of the region of Lazio, and the most populated metropolitan city in Italy. Rome is one of the most ancient cities in the world and has earned the global city title as one of the most famous cities in the world. The city is quite massive and is located conveniently in the Italian Peninsula along the Tiber River shores. Rome is home to globally acknowledged artwork, cultural art, and beautiful architecture, which is at least three thousand years old. When to visit Rome
