Gandia is a moderately large city and municipal region that is located on the eastern coast of Spain, within the Valencian community on the Mediterranean Sea. Its location has won over numerous tourists seeking the scenic magnificence of the coastal environment.
Gandia can be used to access the beautiful shores of Costa del Azahar within the Castellon Province, and still prides in proximity to Valencia, one of the largest cities of Spain.
The city is famously known for its blend in architecture, featuring both ancient and modern designs in significant structures. The Los Borja Ducal Palace dates back to the fifteenth century and is used to learn about the history of Gandia within the Old Town. More history is learned within the Archaeological Museum of Gandia, where numerous artifacts and unique masterpieces from the past are preserved for the public to see.
The Saint Jeroni de Cotalba Monastery, located to the western side of Gandia, attracts many visitors due to its intricate design featuring Moorish cloisters. Outdoors is excellent in the Parpallo Borrell Natural Park, where the vast Cueva del Parpallo and the fantastic sights of the caves from the era of Upper Paleolithic have been preserved for the public to see.
Swimming and other water activities bloom in the many beaches of Gandia, including the Venecia Beach, the ever-glorious North Beach, and the vibrant Rafalcaid Beach.

Gandia experiences the Mediterranean, subtropical climate, which is classified as Csa in the Köppen climate classification. Generally, this climate is characterized by summers that are warm to hot, dry, and humid, and winters that are mild to warm, and moderately rainy.

The celebration is marked with beautiful parades and processions, and colorful decorations to mark the holy week. In March, Gandia holds the Las Fallas festival in a bid to celebrate and honor San Jose, amid numerous cardboard statues that are later burnt in the climax of the event.
