Springs and autumns are mildly warm and pleasant, and moderately wet throughout.

The biggest event held in Jacksonville is the Jacksonville Jazz Festival, which is held in May. Visitors enjoy free jazz music concerts from renowned jazz stars in numerous venues around downtown Jacksonville, both in indoor and outdoor arenas.
