Key West, FL

Key West is a beautiful island city that is found within the Straits of Florida, in the North American continent. The city is in the southernmost region of the contiguous United States, and also the westernmost island with a highway connection in the Florida Keys. The island is moderately large, and it serves as the official seat of the county of Monroe.

The wettest month is September, accumulating as high as 6.7" (170.2mm) of precipitation on average, across approximately eighteen rainy days.
The dry season extends from November through April, and it is mainly pleasant, with the temperature averaging77.5°F (25.3°C) on most days. February receives the least rainfall, measuring up to 1.5" (38.1mm) only.
The peak travel season to Key West is between January and April. The period not only has excellent weather for the outdoors, but it is also devoid of weather hazards like the high rains between August and October, as well as the hurricane season between June and November.
